Healthier Substitutions

I know this isn't related to the stuff I make, well actually it kinda is because I cook everyday.  Anyhoo... Nothing to do with the stuff in my store but more to do with everyday life I suppose.  Thought I'd pass it along.
In reference to the Buzzfeed article below.  I do most of these already.  I've heard of the applesauce trick from my Mom and it works!  Ive made cupcakes and muffins with unsweetened applesauce instead of oil.
I'm definitely going to have to try the frozen banana ice cream.
You can also make amazing pancakes with a mashed banana, an egg and a dash of cinnamon.  I like to add dried cranberries.  Crushed pecans or walnuts are good.  I've also heard of substituting eggs for bananas but I haven't tried that.  I also use plain raw oatmeal in my meatloaf and Salisbury steak instead of bread crumbs.  Instead of breading and deep frying things, try panko bread crumbs and parmesan cheese and bake instead.  Nice and crispy with less fat.
